Starring Raquel Welch, Jeanne Moreau, Elsa Martinelli, Nadia Gray, and Anna Karina
The combined talents of six European cinema directors and a bevy of stars have contributed to the creation of a very funny film that traces the evolution of hookers from prehistoric times to the world of tomorrow.
One story is set in la belle époque. During her “rounds” in a Parisian café, Raquel Welch picks up an older man who takes her to his apartment for the usual purposes. When she discovers by accident that he is a wealthy banker, she refuses to take money from him although she has earned it. Then, she artfully tells the banker “No, no, and no,” which, of course, serves to make him mad about her, so mad that he finally marries her. Raquel Welch, looking sexy and succulent, plays her to perfection.
